We aim to settle your claim as quickly as possible, so please advise us of your claim as soon as you can with the following information.

For medical (and related expenses) claims, please advise:

  • what happened, when and where the event occurred
  • full details of the injury or illness, including symptoms (if any) and whether you have suffered from these conditions before
  • the amount and type of medical expenses you're claiming for
  • a doctor's report or certificate (if received).

For all personal effects, money and documents claims, please advise and provide (as applicable):

  • proof of purchase, date and price
  • replacement cost
  • police or transport provider's acknowledgment of loss or damage.

For all claims we require:

  • date of event
  • details of claim
  • details of expenses (provide accounts and receipts for all costs being claimed for).

The excess you will have to pay

The excess is the contribution towards the claim that you will have to pay. Please check your policy schedule and wording for details about your excess. An excess is deducted for each and every event.
