Pre-existing Conditions
Pre-existing Conditions can be considered
Please be aware that under any section of this policy, you are not insured for any claim in connection with any pre-existing medical condition. However if you would like us to consider cover for a pre-existing condition, you can apply for an extension to your policy at an additional cost.
To apply for an extension, simply call us on 0800 694 777 for a medical assessment, and we'll let you know whether we can cover it.
A pre-existing medical condition is:
1. a physical defect, medical condition or disease for which medical treatment or advice has been received during the six months prior to applying for this The Warehouse travel insurance policy, or
2. an ongoing medical condition or disability that exists when applying for this The Warehouse travel insurance policy.
Change of risk prior to travel
Any medical conditions (of any person) that arise between the time of policy purchase and departure, will be considered pre-existing conditions for all sections of the policy except 3.1 Loss of Deposits.
